What the...? Not that this doesn't look neat and all, but does Duss know you used his work? And did you ask? Because definitely forgot to credit him. An oversight I strongly recommend you correct, if he doesn't outright ask you to remove this (because the very next thing I'm doing is linking him to this.)
THIS IS TOO AWESOME. I CANNOT HANDLE THE AWESOME. gahhh, this is so good. I absolutely adore the style, and the perspective is perfect. You've really captured Terry's essence here, and it's making me happy to look at. I might just have to make this my background, if that's ok.
Also, I literally just finished watching Return of the Joker, so this is especially exciting for me to see. Terry's such a BAMF.
yeh :\ i suppose i'm especially antsy at this point because there's just been a recent furore over some online shop selling painted reproductions of comic artists' covers w/o rights or anything, and i heard it from dustin's blog.
[I don't know who Dustin is...] But yeah, I can understand that. It's really hard with the internet and stuff to sort out sources and figure out what's original, especially if people are selling the art...
if you love Batman Beyond, you'll love Dustin Nguyen. He's the guy who's been doing a ton of their covers, and stuff for most, if not all the main Batbooks currently out on the shelves. He's the guy who did the original pic for this (:
well, hmm, his 'Batman' stuff was a while back. Right now he's been doing Batman: Streets of Gotham, as well as Batgirl covers. Not sure if he's still doing that (the Batgirl covers) - but he's done a Batman Beyond (current ongoing) cover just recent, and he did quite a lot of the Justice League: Generation lost covers. Yeh, watch him, he does really cool water colour stuff too, and he's great with fans - doesn't usually fail to reply to a comment on his work. Real nice guy.
